Leveraged Buyouts (LBOs) in Switzerland – Selected Legal and Tax Aspects

Switzerland is an attractive market for the purchase of companies using particularly high leverage, so-called Leveraged Buyouts (LBOs). Particularly the numerous upcoming successions in medium-sized companies offer opportunities. Furthermore, LBOs benefit from changes in the legal and tax framework which have been recently adopted and will enter into force shortly.
