Get to know Nathalie Voser
Nathalie Voser is a partner in our Dispute Resolution Group in Zurich, where she heads our International Arbitration team. Her practice is focused on international arbitration and litigation. She often acts as counsel before arbitral tribunals and as an arbitrator and regularly advises clients involved in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes. Her areas of specialization include general contract law, tort law and restitution, private international law (conflict of laws), and international procedural law such as (pre-trial) attachment and recognition of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. She has special expertise in construction and civil engineering projects, international commodity sales and license agreements, the automotive and pharmaceutical industries as well as disputes relating to mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
In 1988, Nathalie Voser graduated summa cum laude from the University of Basel, and two years later, was admitted to the bar in Switzerland. In 1992, she became a juris doctor with summa cum laude and earned an LL.M. from Columbia University (New York) in 1994 with honors. In 2005, she received the venia docendi for private law, conflicts of laws, and comparative law, and now regularly teaches courses in commercial arbitration and other areas of Swiss private law. For the period of 2012-2014, she has been appointed to the Board of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
She has received several recognitions with special mentions, was ranked in the top ten of the "most highly regarded individuals" of Who's Who Legal Commercial Litigation 2011 and "performs very strongly" in the research of Who's Who Legal Commercial Arbitration 2012.
